“Birds Are Singing in Kigali” French Premiere in Competition of the 40th Creteil Film Festival / by Ada Zielinska

Birds Are Singing in Kigali will have its French premiere in competition of the forthcoming 40th edition of the Creteil Women Film Festival to take place between March 9th – 18th. This year’s festival’s guest of honor will be Margarethe Von Trotta. 

Festival will present around hundred feature, documentary and short films directed by women in various competitive sections. Birds Are Singing in Kigali will be one of six international features shown in the main competition along with Anahi Berneri’s Alanis (Argentina), Juliette Chenais de Busscher’s Le Viol du Routier (France), and Elene Naveriani’s I Am Truly a Drop of Sun on Earth (Georgia/Switzerland) among others.
