“Birds Are Singing in Kigali” at the 47th Rotterdam Film Festival / by Ada Zielinska

The Dutch premiere of the Birds Are Singing in Kigali will soon take place in the program of the forthcoming Rotterdam International Film Festival, where the film will be shown in the Voices section. The Festival will start on January 24th with a world premiere of Jesper Ganslandt’s Jimmie and end on February 4th with The Death of Stalin by Armando Iannucci.

Birds Are Singing in Kigali will be screened several times during the festival and the director/producer – Joanna Kos-Krauze – is expected to come to meet the audiences. Among the films the festival presents there will be also Takeshi Kitano’s Outrage Coda, Valeska Grisebach’s Western as well as the world premiere of Alexey Fedorchenko’s new film Anna’s War and the international premiere of Lee Kwangkuk’s A Tiger in Winterby
