“Birds Are Singing in Kigali” Israeli Premiere at the Haifa Film Festival 2017 / by Ada Zielinska

Birds Are Singing in Kigali by Joanna Kos-Krauze and Krzysztof Krauze will have its Israeli premiere in the competition of the Haifa FF that starts on October 5th. The competition will consist of eleven features, among others Andrei Zvyagintsev’s “Loveless”, Agnieszka Holland’s “Spoor” and Eugene Jarecki’s “Promised Land.” 

Within the festival program there will be numerous highly anticipated brand new productions from around the word, like Sebastian Lelio’s “Fantastic Woman”, Edouard Deluc’s “Gauguin”, Hong Sang-soo’s “Claire’s Camera”, Claire Denis’ “Let the Sunshine In”, or Lucrecia Martel’s “Zama” as well as a competition for Israeli documentary and fiction films and a tribute to David Lynch.
