“Birds Are Singing in Kigali” Lithuanian Premiere at the Scanorama Film Festival in Vilnius / by Ada Zielinska

The forthcoming Scanorama Film Festival in Vilnius will host the Lithuanian premiere screening of the Birds Are Singing in Kigali by Joanna Kos-Krauze and Krzysztof Krauze. The festival takes place between November 9th-16th.

Birds Are Singing in Kigali is to be presented in the “Crossing Europe” program along with Sergiei Loznitsa’s A Gentle Creature, Michael Haneke’s Happy End, Philippe Garrel’s Lover for a Day, and Andrey Zvyagintsev’s Loveless among others. The festival will introduce also a competition of short films by young filmmakers from the Baltic countries, featuring Lithuanian, Lativian and Estonian productions.
